Personal experience
Ni Yizhen was born in Shanghai in 1979. He graduated from the middle school attached to Shanghai Conservatory of music in 1998. In September of the same year, he went to Paris to study under the guidance of Professor p-yartaud, a famous French flute educator and performer. The next year, she was admitted to the world-class Paris National Conservatory of music with the first prize.
After four years of study, Ni Yizhen graduated from the National Conservatory of music of Paris in June 2002 with three first prizes of flute, piccolo and sight play. She continued to pursue advanced chamber music courses in the University and graduated in the summer of 2003. At the same time, she also studied for the highest diploma of performer in Paris Higher Normal College of music, and graduated in 2003.
During her study in Paris National Conservatory of music, she majored in flute and piccolo, and also took such courses as sight reading, improvisation, chamber music, band, form, chorus, etc. she also served as the chief flute player in the school band. Especially in modern music. P-yartaud, her flute Professor, was ranked first in France, and most of her tutors came from the best French orchestras. For example, the assistant teacher of flute is from the Paris Orchestra, the professor of Piccolo is from the Paris National Opera House, and the professor of chamber music is from the oboe master Maurice bourgue.
Due to her hard work, Ni Yizhen won the first prize in professional awards every year and won the scholarship awarded by the French government. While studying in Paris National Conservatory of music, Ni Yizhen also studied in Lorenzo international Conservatory of music, Italy, under the guidance of Swiss flute master Peter Carl Graf (Graf), who is good at classical music. In the summer of 2001, Ni Yizhen also participated in Graf flute master class held in Napoli, Italy. Due to her hard work and strong understanding, she is still the only private student in Graf. She attends classes at Mr. Graf's home every month. In the summer of 2003, he took part in Graf flute master class in Italy again.
In the spring and summer of 2003, he studied with Kudo, a Japanese flute master.
During her four years of study in Paris, Ni Yizhen was also a member of the French Flute Orchestra (off), often performing and recording in Paris and other provinces. She also participated in the rehearsal and performance of the Paris modern orchestra and was personally guided by the famous French modern music conductor Peter Eotvos and the famous composer and conductor Stockhausen. As a member of a symphony orchestra or Chamber Orchestra, she often gives concerts in concert halls, theaters and music cities in Paris. She has participated in the anti cancer fund Concert (2002) hosted by French President Jacques Chirac, the large-scale concert held by the National Bank of France in the house of Lords (2002), the performance for the inauguration ceremony of the Chinese cultural center in Paris (June 2003) and the performance for UNESCO (Paris) (September 2003). She has also been a judge of the Paris Flute Competition several times.
During her study in Paris, Ni Yizhen participated in five international flute competitions and won prizes. They include the second place in the advanced group of Alto Flute youth talent Grand Prix in Paris, the first place in the chamber music of u.f.a.m. International Music Competition in Paris, the fourth place and the second place in the flute youth group competition of Jeunesse music international competition in Romania twice, and the second place (the first place vacancy) in the 20th century flute and piccolo international competition of Valentino bucchi in Italy. In 2001, he was shortlisted for the 5th Kobe International Flute Competition.
