1、 Basic information of Doctor Li Wenliang and the background and process of forwarding and publishing wechat information

In December 2019, some patients with unexplained pneumonia were admitted to Hubei integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital, Wuhan Central Hospital Houhu District, Wuhan Red Cross Hospital, etc. On December 27, Zhang Jixian, director of respiratory and critical care medicine department of Hubei integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital, reported 3 cases of unexplained pneumonia to the hospital, which reported the situation to Wuhan Jianghan District CDC. On the same day, Wuhan CDC arranged an epidemiological investigation and test for the three patients. On December 29, the hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine of Hubei Province reported 4 cases of unexplained pneumonia from South China seafood market. Wuhan Municipal Health Commission organized a team of experts to investigate and referred the patients to Wuhan Jinyintan hospital that night. At the same time, similar information also appears in other wechat groups. Two department documents of Wuhan Municipal Health Commission uploaded to the Internet, and the information forwarded and released by Dr. Li Wenliang and others, caused attention and discussion.
2、 Interview, admonition and hospital interview with Dr. Li Wenliang
At 13:38 on December 31, 2019, Wuhan Municipal Health Commission issued the "Circular on the current situation of pneumonia in our city", saying that "27 cases have been found", "the above cases are viral pneumonia", and that "so far, no obvious human to human phenomenon has been found in the investigation, and no infection has been found among medical staff". A number of media reported on this. According to the work arrangement for the prevention and control of unexplained pneumonia in Wuhan, the public security organs of Wuhan investigated and handled the information of SARS and other infectious diseases on the Internet in accordance with the laws and regulations on the prevention and control of infectious diseases and public security management, as well as the Information Circular of the Municipal Health Commission. The hospital asked Dr. Li Wenliang to write an understanding material. Until Li Wenliang was ill and hospitalized, he had been working as an ophthalmologist in the hospital.
3、 Incidence, treatment and rescue of Doctor Li Wenliang
On January 10, 2020, Dr. Li Wenliang developed fever. He was admitted to the eye ward of Wuhan Central Hospital on January 12, transferred to the third ward of respiratory and critical care medicine department on January 14, transferred to the intensive care unit of respiratory and critical care medicine department on January 23, and died on February 7.
On December 9, 2019, Dr. Li Wenliang was transferred from ophthalmic clinic to ophthalmic ward. On January 6, 2020, Dr. Li Wenliang treated an 82 year old eye patient.
