Early experience
Guo Shuzhen was born in Tianjin on June 1, 1927.
Director of vocal music teaching and research section, tutor of postgraduates, member of Academic Committee and degree committee, member of Professional Title Evaluation Committee and expert group. He has applied for the post-graduate tutor of China Conservatory of music, Honorary Professor of Tianjin Conservatory of music, member of all previous professional evaluation committee of the Ministry of culture, executive director of China Musicians Association, etc.
She was an alumnus of Tianjin Haihe middle school from August 1943 to August 1946.
In 1947, he joined the Music Department of Beiping National College of arts to study vocal music. In 1949, the college was incorporated into the Central Conservatory of music. In 1950, he went to Yunnan for propaganda, performance, creation and collection with the southwest ethnic delegation of the Central Committee. He graduated in 1952 and stayed in school to teach. He graduated from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory of music in 1958 and won the title of excellent opera and concert singer.
In 1957, he won the first prize and gold medal in the International Vocal Music Competition (in 1955, he won the third prize in the international vocal music competition). During the study period, besides starring in the opera of Tchaikovsky Conservatory of music, she was invited to play "Mimi" in the opera "artist's life" and "tajiana" in the opera "Eugene Onegin" by Stanislavsky Danchenko model music opera house in Moscow and rivov Grand Theatre of the Republic of Ukraine in 1958. The performance was well received. Ye groshova, a famous music critic, wrote an article in the Russian Pravda, praising Guo Shuzhen's role as "Pushkin and Tchaikovsky heroine". After returning to China in 1959, Guo Shuzhen became an actor of the Central Opera and dance theater and a teacher of the Vocal Music Department of the Central Conservatory of music. Over the years, Guo Shuzhen has been active in the music stage, holding a series of solo concerts in Tianjin, Beijing, Wuhan, Hong Kong, Qianlie ningler and rivolf. The repertoire of Guo Shuzhen's concerts includes ancient and modern, Chinese and foreign, and is extremely extensive. In 1963, the Central Opera and dance theater premiered the opera "Eugene Onegin" in China. Guo Shuzhen once again played the role of tachiyana, which attracted attention from all walks of life and was well received. The number of records recorded and released by China's record companies is the largest among bel canto singers, and has been unanimously praised by the audience and experts. In 1989, he won the first "Gold Record Award" of China record company. In 1997, China National Records Corporation released the personal album (CD) of the collection of famous Chinese singers in the 20th century. Moscow record company has collected a lot of Guo Shuzhen's classical songs, opera selections, Chinese and Russian folk songs, and published records.
In 1947, he entered the Music Department of Beiping art college. He graduated from the Vocal Music Department of the Central Conservatory of music in 1952. In 1959, he returned to China and taught in the Central Conservatory of music. In 1985, he was elected as the fourth executive director of the Chinese Musicians Association. He has been a lecturer of the Central Conservatory of music, deputy director, associate professor and professor of the vocal music department, and the third and fourth executive directors of the China Music Association. In 1955, he won the bronze medal for classical song singing in the fifth World Youth Festival. In 1957, he won the gold medal for classical song singing in the sixth World Youth Festival.
He won the third prize and the first prize in the classical song competition of the fifth and the sixth World Youth and Student Festival respectively; he won the first national "gold record" award, the instructor award of the national art college art song singing competition, and the advanced worker of the national cultural system of the Ministry of culture. Solo concerts were held in the Soviet Union and Hong Kong. He has starred in opera Eugene Onegin, artist's career and sang songs such as Yellow River resentment. In 1958, Moscow Stanislavsky, Danchenko model music theater and Ukraine's rivov Grand Theater successively invited Guo Shuzhen to play Mimi in Puccini's opera "artist's life" and tajiyana in Tchaikovsky's opera "Eugene Onegin".
