After entering Guangzhou Conservatory of music, he majored in Pipa and studied guitar. Yin Biao had a solid foundation and comprehensive knowledge. With the help of the techniques of national musical instruments (especially Pipa), he integrated the charm of Chinese folk music into the guitar and gave full play to the performance of the guitar. He adapted "sunset Xiao Gu", "chushuilian", "Yi dance" and "Golden Snake Dance" into guitar solo, and "saishangqu" into guitar and band ensemble, which had a great influence and spread widely in guitar circle. since 1987, he has been playing his own music in domestic and International Guitar competitions.
