A bosom friend is hard to find
In 2005, Qiao Shan founded "Canada Jiuyi Piano Club" to promote and inherit Guqin art. In the past two years, she has shifted the focus of her development to China and served as the curator of Shanghai youhuangli Juntian Guqin hall, which integrates Guqin teaching, cultural exchange, tea and friends. She regards the dissemination of Chinese traditional civilization as her own responsibility and has become one of the largest professional Guqin learning and cultural communication centers in Shanghai. According to Ms. Qiao Shan, there are more than 100 students in the museum. They are all attracted by Guqin because of their love for guqin, including it elites, white-collar workers from foreign enterprises, media workers, etc. they are generally people with high accomplishments. In addition, some parents will encourage their children to learn Guqin. guqin, a national musical instrument that has been popular for thousands of years, has sprung up like mushrooms, and has been paid attention to by people again. The reason is that Ms. Qiao thinks: "due to the great social pressure, people have a need to return to nature. With the help of guqin, we can help people do this. In addition, guqin culture has a profound cultural heritage, through which we can find the resonance of our hearts. " However, Ms. Qiao Shan is not optimistic about the possibility of popularizing Guqin. In Ms. Qiao Shan's view, a real Qin player needs to make a lot of efforts, not only to accumulate life experience, but also to improve his literary attainments, which is determined by the characteristics of Guqin culture itself. Today, she still plays Guqin for an hour or two every day, which has become a way of life for her.
