Yu bosun
Yu bosun (1922-2013.04.17), male, born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, is a Guqin player and a representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage project of Shu Guqin. At the same time, he is good at dulcimer, erhu, flute, Xiao and other musical instruments. At the age of 12, he entered the "Oriental drama school" to study traditional Chinese opera. At the age of 14, he began to study Guqin. When he was middle-aged, he visited many haineiqin players, such as Cha Fuxi, Wu JINGLUE, Pu xuezhai, etc. In 1948, he was on stage with Qi Baishi, a master of traditional Chinese painting in Chongqing. In 1983, he began to write the first Qin song "Emei Mountain Moon Song". In 1985, Dongpo Shiqin society was founded to cultivate the successors of Sichuan Guqin school. In 2006, Yu bosun Shu School Guqin Research Institute was established in Chengdu. In the same year, Yu bosun was awarded the "lifelong achievement award of Chinese folk music" by the Chinese National Orchestra Society. "He once asked me to write more than ten pieces of ancient music every year, and I will continue to teach Guqin in the future."
Personal resume
Yu bosun entered the "Oriental drama school" at the age of 12 to study opera. At the age of 14, he began to study Guqin under the guidance of Chen Yunru and long Qinfang. When he was middle-aged, he visited haineiqin artists such as Cha Fuxi, Wu JINGLUE and Pu xuezhai to enrich his artistic life.
From 1942 to 1945, he and his father, Yu Zidan, a national painter and educator, jointly founded the "Gufeng national music club" and wrote and performed the three string solo "Yuefei vs. Zhuxian Town", which greatly stimulated the patriotic passion of the people to expel the Japanese aggressors. He not only plays the piano, but also is good at dulcimer, erhu, flute, Xiao and other musical instruments. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he took part in the activity of "Datong national music club" in Chongqing and performed with Peng Xiuwen, Yang Jingming and other musicians.
In 1948, he was on stage with Qi Baishi, a master of traditional Chinese painting in Chongqing. In 1983, he began to create his first piano song "the Moon Song of Mount Emei", which was specially produced and released by China singing Chengdu company. It is called "the Moon Song of Mount Emei", which was sung by Wang Shuyi, a disciple of Teacher Yu.
In 1985, he founded the Dongpo Shiqin society, which is dedicated to training the successors of Sichuan Guqin school. In 2006, Yu bosun shupai Guqin Research Institute of Chengdu was established to study Guqin better.

Yu bosun is good at playing Mozi Beisi, Peilan, Gaoshan and Liushui. His style is vigorous, vigorous, sonorous, steady and simple. He was engaged in digging and composing scores, and composed dozens of ancient poems such as Shu Dao Nan.
