Born in a family

Wang Tiechui was born in Ziwei village, Ding County, Hebei Province in 1932. His father was a member of the club. The background of his birth in the hometown of song Blowing and the folk musical instrument playing activities of his ancestors for six generations made him influenced by folk music in his childhood. When he was seven years old, he accepted his father's Enlightenment of song Blowing music and learned flute and song Blowing music from other old artists in the song Blowing club. Strict performance skills laid a good foundation for him. When he was ten years old, he began to perform on the stage and was immediately warmly welcomed and loved by the masses. Over the years, Wang Tiechui has published the collection of Wang Tiechui's Flute, the introduction to flute playing and other books, and recorded the collection of Wang Tiechui's flute solo by the master of north school flute, the collection of Wang Tiechui's Flute, Xiao, Bawu, Cuan, Hulusi performance and other CDs. In addition, he also created and adapted flute pieces such as qingfengshou, Ganlu and the morning of the oil field.

In more than 50 years of artistic practice, Wang Tiechui studied hard, gained many advantages, and formed his own artistic personality and style. In 1953, he won a prize in the fourth World Youth Festival National Instrument solo competition. In 1955, he won the second prize of folk Wind Quartet and the third prize of flute solo in the fifth World Youth Festival. He also visited and performed in more than 20 countries including the United States, Britain, Germany, Japan, India and the former Soviet Union, and was warmly welcomed.
