The platoon leader taught him playing guitar, singing and simple music knowledge, and brought him into the door of music that he had been longing for for for a long time. After learning the first song "memory of love", Xiaorong was deeply infatuated with the guitar. Old wolf and beyond were his idols at that time. Soon, Xiaorong came up with the idea of writing his own songs. In 2006, Xiaorong successfully created the first cross-border music work in Northern Shaanxi - "red light". After the completion of the song, let the people around shout wonderful. Tired of listening to the dregs of Northern Shaanxi folk songs, tired of listening to similar pop music, this new style of music gives people a refreshing feeling, not only has been loved and respected by the majority of music fans, but also has been recognized and praised by many people in the music industry.

After clarifying his creative ideas, Xiaorong began to march into cross-border music. In recent years, he has successively created dozens of well-known cross-border music works in Northern Shaanxi, such as Er housheng, you Jian Xin Tian you and Yuanwang. In July 2009, his first cross-border music album of Northern Shaanxi, er housheng, was published and released by China records Shenzhen company. At the record launch ceremony, many important figures in Shaanxi music and art circles affirmed Xiaorong's music way, and also placed more expectations and requirements on him. Many of the dying traditional arts in Northern Shaanxi need to be inherited and developed. Crossover is a valuable attempt. This road will be bright and difficult!
