Xi Xiulan loved singing and dancing since she was a child. In the fourth grade of primary school, I went to Hong Kong to reunite with my parents who were already there. In 1966, he was admitted to the first TV music art training class founded by Li's TV station (namely Asian TV station). At the same time, he studied piano, vocal music, dance, performance and other subjects in the TV station. After graduating from the training class in 1967, he took part in the Hong Kong amateur singer singing competition held by Sing Tao Daily and won the champion of Mandarin Group with "Green Island Serenade". After becoming famous, he has worked as a singer and artiste in Lidi TV station and wireless TV station for more than ten years. He has presided over such programs as "weekend party", "happy tonight", "singing everywhere", "group hero meeting" and "I want to sing for you", which are welcomed by the audience.

Xi Xiulan has been a TV host for a long time, but she is most famous for her singing. In 1969, she produced her first album "heartbreaker" and more than ten albums in Lifeng company. He won the best singing award of international concert in 1978.

After getting married in 1979, he announced that he would quit the entertainment circle and would not be on TV. He would meet the audience and audience with songs. Since then, however, more records have been recorded and more popular. Her song "my motherland" won the "platinum Record Award" in Hong Kong in 1982. In the same year, her song "the girl of Alishan" won the first place in Taiwan. She has won five "platinum Record Awards" and three "Gold Record Awards" in total.

In 1984, at the invitation of CCTV, he participated in the Spring Festival Gala and successfully sang three songs: "Why are the flowers so red", "tiannu scattered flowers" and "girl of Alishan". In April of the same year, at the invitation of Anhui Federation of overseas Chinese, he went back to visit his family in Quanjiao, Anhui Province. In July of the same year, at the invitation of China Welfare Foundation for the disabled, he held three charity performances for the disabled in Beijing Workers' Stadium, with an audience of more than 30000. In September of the same year, he went to Sichuan to sing for saving the national treasure giant panda. In 1985, at the invitation of CCTV, he took part in the Spring Festival Gala to sing "love for hometown". In 1985, he released the tape of "spring in the land" in Shanghai. This is the first original sound track released by Hong Kong Singers in the mainland. On December 19, 1999, Xi Xiulan performed on Macao's return day.

In the Spring Festival of 2000, after performing in the Spring Festival Gala of "the same song" on CCTV, VCD and 15 new folk songs were recorded for the first time in April. The poem is dedicated to all bosom friends: "sissy". 5-8 volunteer 45 Sermons for churches, societies, hospitals, elderly centers and schools in Hong Kong. In September, he performed in the 2000 Shandong Qingdao Chinese Forum sponsored by Qingdao daily. From December 26 to 31 of the same year, six non-profit performances of "Xi Xiulan's singing at night" were performed at the Hong Kong Cultural Center. In June 2001, he published CD + VCD selection of concerts. In the second half of 2001, he performed in more than 90 70 churches, homes for the aged, schools, hospitals and charitable organizations in Hong Kong. He witnessed and contacted 35000 people. Since then, in 2002, he has visited the United States four times in a year to raise funds for China, local organizations, churches, homes for the aged and students.

Since 2000, he has performed with "the same song" all over the country for many times. In the Spring Festival of 2007, he participated in the "Spring Festival Gala" held by Oriental satellite TV and sang "beautiful Hong Kong". On July 21, 2007, the "emotional Shanghai 2007" concert was held on the Shanghai grand stage. This is the first individual concert held in Shanghai to commemorate the 40th anniversary of entering the singing world, the 80th anniversary of the birth of Chinese pop songs in Shanghai and the 10th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong.
