Shanying group, a group of ethnic minorities in mainland China, is composed of jikequbu, waqiyihe and shamalaqi.

Group members

Jikequbu (Eagle), born in Bimo (Priest) family in an ancient village on the Bank of Meigu River in Daliang Mountain, Sichuan Province, is one of the main creators of "Mountain Eagle combination". His lyrics and music creation are influenced by his own profound Yi culture. In 2005, jikequbu appeared in the Yi culture documentary film bimoji, in which he played a singer who came home. In 2007, he participated in and made the documentary "lost strings of mouth". In 2010, he starred in Liangshan Yi people guarding Dashan's movie "mountain walkers", in which he played No.1 man. In 2011, jikequbu founded the "ancient Yi customs cultural performance center" focusing on the cultivation of music, film and television talents in Liangshan and displaying the Yi culture in Liangshan. In 2012, "ancient Yi customs and cultural performing arts center" and Liangshan TV station jointly created the music column "traveler music collection". Waqiyihe (Black Hawk) was born in the alpine tribe of Zhaojue County, Daliangshan, Sichuan Province. In 1993, he formed Shanying group with Laoying. He went to the dance department of Beijing Central University for Nationalities for further study. After graduation, he returned to liangshanzhou song and dance troupe and worked for four years. After ojiage left the team in 1995, shamala joined Shanying group. His friends used to call him "a Qiang". Shamala also has a natural and unrestrained dancing posture and a very magnetic voice.
