Hotels that have reached the corresponding star rating standards shall be issued corresponding star rating certificates and signboards by the national tourist hotel star rating agencies. The validity period of the star logo is three years.
Logo use
The number and color of stars are used to indicate the stars of tourist hotels. The star level of tourist hotel is divided into five levels, namely one star, two star, three-star, four-star and five-star (including platinum five-star). The minimum is one star and the maximum is five stars. The higher the star level, the higher the level of the hotel. the star logo is composed of the great wall and five pointed star pattern. The star is symbolized by gold-plated five pointed star. One five pointed star represents one star, two five pointed stars represent two stars, three five pointed stars represent three stars, four five pointed stars represent four stars, five five pointed stars represent five stars, and five platinum five pointed stars represent platinum five stars. the bronze plates of one to five-star hotels are marked with gold-plated five-star, while the five stars on the plates of hotels that have won "platinum five-star" will be white gold. the star level sign of the hotel should be placed in the most obvious position in the front hall of the hotel to accept public supervision. The star mark of a hotel has been registered as a certification trademark in the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and commerce, and its use requirements must be strictly in accordance with the "rules for the use and administration of graphic certification trademarks of star hotels". No unit or individual is allowed to make and use without authorization or approval. At the same time, it is illegal for any hotel to use "quasi x star", "super x star" or "equivalent to x star" as propaganda means. the star certificate and signboard of the hotel are made and issued by the National Star judges. The cost of signboards shall be charged according to the standards approved by relevant state departments. the number on each star level signboard shall be consistent with the corresponding star level hotel certificate number. In principle, each star hotel can only apply for one star sign. If the star sign is damaged or lost, it should be reported in time. After being verified by the provincial star judge, it can apply to the National Star judge for reissue. if a star rated hotel needs to change its star rating certificate due to its name change, it can change it with the relevant documents of the industry and Commerce Department, and the star rating certificate must be restored at the same time.
Evaluation process
The "National Tourism star rated hotel evaluation committee" (non national tourism star rated hotel evaluation committee) is the only highest organization responsible for the national hotel star rating. The office of the National Star judges is set up as an office (hereinafter referred to as "the office of the National Star judges"). The office of the National Star judge is located in the Secretariat of China Tourist Hotel Association. Its office address is national tourism administration, No.9, Jianguomennei street, Beijing. all five-star hotels are subject to evaluation review in the third year after evaluation or evaluation review, and they are subject to evaluation review after three years since 2013. after the hotel puts forward the five-star application, the star rating agency of the local tourist hotel will review the application and submit it to the National Star judge level by level after the preliminary evaluation, and the National Star judge will assign inspectors to carry out the inspection and evaluation. The inspection is divided into two parts, one is the explicit inspection, that is, a comprehensive inspection of the hotel's hardware facilities. The hotel must score 420 out of the 610 hardware points before entering the next procedure, that is, the secret visit part. Star judges come to the hotel as guests, make secret visits to the hotel's cleanliness, service quality, maintenance, etc. without letting the hotel know, and score the hotel in the secret visits. The hotel's score rate reaches 92% or more before passing. Finally, the National Star judges award the five-star mark and certificate. After the star rating, the National Star judges will review the five-star hotels once a year.
