Production steps:
Step 1: prepare materials.
Step 2: wash the rind of wax gourd, keep the rind, pulp and seed, and cut into small cubes.
Step 3: mix the wax gourd with brown sugar and let it stand for 30 minutes. The wax gourd will pickle out water, so there is no need to add water.
Step 4: add rock sugar and cook together.
Step 5: bring to a boil.
Step 6: turn the heat down and cook for 2 hours. It doesn't need to be too hot, just keep it bubbling. Slow down!
Step 7: after cooling, filter. Use gauze or filter to screw out the water in the wax gourd residue and bottle it. We must dry as much as possible and the essence is in it.
Step 8: take a few spoonfuls of wax gourd tea concentrated juice and dilute it with boiled water.

Brown sugar: 400g
Rock sugar: 100g
Note: Boyou's original formula used 600 grams of brown sugar, I reduced the amount of sugar, and added some rock sugar, which is used to dilute the drink, so it doesn't matter if I don't reduce the amount of sugar. It's OK to refrigerate the prepared wax gourd tea for 2 weeks, but it's better to finish it in another week.
