Yili sainaim is a traditional folk dance of Yili Uygur nationality with strong regional characteristics, which integrates music, dance and poetry. It is the oldest folk art form based on songs and dance performed by ancient Uygur ancestors in some folk songs, wedding songs and dances, rituals and various celebrations.

The dancing movements of sanam in Ili are unrestrained and unrestrained, light and neat, and the emotional communication between men and women is frank and natural.

Yili sainaim is an art performance form composed of 17 kinds of musical forms and paragraphs, with fixed lyrics and integrating songs, music and dance. It is also the favorite activity mode of Yili Uygur mass entertainment and gathering.
