Applicant: Renqiu City, Hebei Province
Jizhong Sheng wind music is popular in nearly 30 counties and cities south of Beijing, west of Tianjin and north of Cangzhou and Dingzhou. It is a unique type of percussion music in Jizhong plain. It is commonly known as "concert" among the people. It is also known as "Sheng wind music" because it is mainly played by Guan and Sheng. In addition to Sheng, pipe, flute and other wind instruments, Jizhong Sheng wind instruments also use cloud Gong, drum, cymbal, cymbal, Dangdang and other percussion instruments. The music of Sheng Guan music is divided into three categories: Suite, ditty and independent percussion music. The suite is a major part of the whole playing repertoire because of its long length and complex structure. Jizhong Sheng wind music is spread all over the whole Jizhong plain. Farmers in this area take the village as a unit to perform in local folk activities such as sacrifice and funeral, and inherit it from generation to generation in their own unique way.
Xinanzhuang folk concert is the earliest folk concert in Renqiu, Hebei Province. It was founded in 1421, Yongle 19th year of Ming Dynasty, and has a history of nearly 600 years. In the 21st year of Qianlong (1756) of the Qing Dynasty, because of a song "Guan Gong CI Cao", xin'anzhuang concert was awarded by the emperor, so there were related written records. Since then, the Yellow used to be used in the flag making of concerts. Xin'anzhuang concert is also one of the most complete repertoires in Renqiu City, Hebei Province. There are more than 30 sets of repertoire, accounting for nearly half of the repertoire in the city. Xinanzhuang folk concert has a strong performance line-up, with more than 40 musicians. There are more than 20 large-scale performances every year. The main musical instruments include Guanzi, Sheng, Qudi, Yunluo, Dacheng, Xiaocheng, Dagu, Xiaogu, dangzi, etc. some of the musical instruments are left over from the early days of Xinanzhuang concert. For example, Yunluo has a history of hundreds of years. It can not only play beautiful music, but also has high archaeological value. At first, concert performance skills were inherited by apprentices, and then mainly by family inheritance. At present, we have collected 35 sets of ancient music scores of xin'anzhuang concert, each of which contains beautiful historical legends or allusions, and has the dual aesthetic value of music and literature.
Xinanzhuang folk concert has been handed down for six hundred years, showing its tenacious vitality. It is rooted in the countryside, deeply loved by the people, and has high artistic and historical and cultural research value. At present, the backbone of the concert is seriously aging, the follow-up force is insufficient, and the funds are in short supply. The 35 sets of music scores sorted out can only be performed by 8 musicians, and the remaining 27 sets can only be performed by a few old artists. This shows that xin'anzhuang folk concert is in danger of being lost, and a series of effective rescue and protection measures are urgently needed.
