Haixia Bank of Fujian was established on December 27, 1996. Its head office is located at No. 358, jiangbinzhong Avenue, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. On December 7, 2009, it changed its name from Fuzhou commercial bank to Fujian strait bank. Fujian strait bank is a local joint-stock commercial bank with independent legal personality, which is jointly established by Fuzhou local finance, enterprise legal person and individual.

Fujian strait bank, formerly known as Fuzhou commercial bank, was established on December 27, 1996. With the consent of Fuzhou municipal government and the approval of the head office of the people's Bank of China, Fujian strait bank is the first local joint-stock company with independent legal personality in Fuzhou City, which is established on the basis of the original 14 city credit cooperatives and City Credit Cooperatives Association in Fuzhou City On the morning of December 7, 2009, the Commercial Bank of China officially changed its name to Fujian strait bank. Fujian strait bank has more than 5500 employees, one business department, six branches and 41 sub branches in Zhangzhou, Longyan, Ningde, Quanzhou, Wenzhou and Putian. Development History

2007

In 2007, it realized cross regional operation, transforming from a local bank to a regional bank and a national bank, with a total of 48 business outlets, which radiated from Fuzhou to the whole province and even outside the province, and set up branches in Zhangzhou, Longyan, Ningde, Quanzhou, Wenzhou, Putian and other places. On October 12, 2009, China Banking Regulatory Commission approved the change of Fuzhou commercial bank to Fujian strait bank.

2009

2009 is not only an important year in the development history of Fuzhou commercial bank, but also a milestone year. In the face of severe macro situation and fierce market competition, Fuzhou commercial bank actively implements the macro-control policies and regulatory requirements, adheres to the guidance of the scientific outlook on development, closely focuses on the annual work objectives set by the board of directors, strives to develop, operates steadily, renames, increases capital and shares, and achieves the three strategic tasks of institutional construction as scheduled, and all businesses achieve sustained and healthy development rapid growth.

By the end of November 2009, the total assets were 39 billion yuan, the balance of deposits was 28.2 billion yuan, and the balance of loans was 19.4 billion yuan. The main business indicators met or exceeded the regulatory indicators. On December 7, Fujian Straits bank and Fujian SME credit re Guarantee Co., Ltd. signed a business cooperation agreement with a total amount of 2 billion yuan to jointly build a financing platform for SMEs serving the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits. According to the agreement, Fujian strait bank will give priority to cooperate with the guarantee companies that provide credit enhancement from Fujian SME credit re guarantee company to carry out SME financing business, and provide preferential policies in terms of business cooperation amount, margin amplification ratio, customer loan interest rate, etc.

Yuan Rongxiang, member of the Standing Committee of Fujian provincial Party committee and Secretary of Fuzhou municipal Party committee, and Su Zengzeng, vice governor of Fujian Province and acting mayor of Fuzhou City, jointly unveiled the Fujian strait bank. Wang Xiaohui, director of Fujian banking regulatory bureau, issued the financial license for Fujian strait bank, and Su Zengzeng issued the business license for Fujian strait bank. After the unveiling ceremony, Fujian strait bank held a press conference on its name change, launched a new bank logo and financial brand, and introduced its future development plan. On July 3, 2010, Quanzhou branch of Fujian Straits bank officially opened for business. This is the fourth non local branch of Fujian Straits bank in Fujian Province. Wenzhou Branch, the first inter provincial organization, was officially opened on January 9, 2011.

By the end of 2009, the total assets of the bank was 41.53 billion yuan, an increase of 10.74 billion yuan or 34.9% over the beginning of the year; the balance of deposits was 28.3 billion yuan, an increase of 5.91 billion yuan or 26.4% over the beginning of the year; the balance of loans was 19.59 billion yuan, an increase of 3.68 billion yuan or 23.1% over the beginning of the year; the non-performing loan ratio was 1.39%, a decrease of 0.93% over the beginning of the year; the loan loss provision coverage was 162.1%, an increase of 84.4% over the beginning of the year The book profit was 460 million yuan, an increase of 50 million yuan, an increase of 11%, and all indicators met or exceeded the regulatory requirements.

2010

2011

Chronicles of 2011:

On January 31, the 24-hour customer service number of Straits bank was upgraded from 0591-968809 to the national unified customer service hotline, and the customer service level was further improved.

On February 24, the Straits bank was once again qualified as a primary dealer of open market business in 2011 as announced by the people's Bank of China.

On March 6, the business department of the Straits bank won the honorary title of "National Women's civilized post", and made great achievements in the construction of spiritual civilization.

2012

Events in 2012

On January 10, the Straits bank once again entered the top 100 in terms of trading volume in the 2011 national interbank market ranking released by the national interbank market, and won this award for ten consecutive years.

On April 6, the Straits bank was selected into the top 100 tax payers in Fujian Province in 2011, ranking 54th.

On August 29, Wenzhou Longwan Sub Branch officially opened, becoming the first cross provincial sub branch of Straits bank.
