Zouzhuang town

Zouzhuang Town, known as "three counties at a glance", is located in the border of Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province, at the junction of the two provinces of Jiangsu Province and the three counties (cities) of pilantan. The flood diversion road and Picang highway run through the north and south, with a total area of 70.36 square kilometers (2017) and cultivated land of 66000 mu. Zouzhuang town governs 29 administrative villages with a total population of 57630 people (2017). Zouzhuang is rich in natural resources and outstanding in people. Youlu mountain, located in the north of zouzhuang, is 90 meters above sea level and has a beautiful environment. The unearthed ivory, antlers and other fossils have pushed forward the civilization history of Pizhou for 6000 years. It is rich in silicalite ores and is a good material for firing cement. Xibian village is rich in underground gypsum, with proven reserves of 300 million cubic meters, shallow burial, thick gypsum layer and excellent gypsum quality.

In recent years, the Party committee and government of zouzhuang town have been stepping up the pace of industrial structure adjustment, expanding 12000 Mu along 233 provincial road. The ecological agriculture demonstration park covers seasonal vegetables and livestock breeding, and strawberry, melon and other fresh fruits have become a happy project for self collecting tourism. Geography

Located in the northeast of Pizhou City, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, it is located at the junction of Jiangsu and Shandong provinces and three counties (cities) of pilantan, 34 kilometers away from the urban area. It covers an area of 70.36 square kilometers (2017) and has a population of 57630 people (2017). It has jurisdiction over a new neighborhood committee and 16 administrative villages including zouzhuang, Mengqiao, Xiaolou, bianhu, Hanjia, Liugou, Zoubu, Menglou, Qintan, Guzhai, Youshan, Hanzhuang, Dingtan, Shabu, Hongquan and Shidong. The town government is stationed in zouzhuang. From east to west, there are 11 inter provincial rivers, such as Shagou River, Wuhe River, Xiaosu River, Yanzi River, Picang spillway, Sangou River and Chaigou river. Youlu mountain is 90 meters above sea level and has a beautiful environment.

Historical evolution

There are many changes in the history of zouzhuang. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the township society system was implemented, and zouzhuang town was subordinate to the Gaozhong society of Shexian township. In the third year of the Republic of China (1914 A.D.), it was changed to the district regiment system, belonging to the four household regiment. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940 AD), youlushan, Aimin and Cunren were re established. The people's Republic of China was founded, belonging to the Fourth District of Pixian County. In 1953, it belonged to Xuzhou special district of Jiangsu Province and the third district of Pixian County. In 1957, zouzhuang, Youshan and Menglou were merged to establish zouzhuang Township, forming the current division. In 1958, zouzhuang people's commune was established, and the integration of government and society was implemented. In 1983, the township system was restored. In 1992, after the township was removed, 29 administrative villages, 58 natural villages and 162 villager groups were under its jurisdiction. In 2001, the system was reformed again, and 29 villages were merged into 16 administrative villages. In 2006, with the rise of small town construction, a new type of neighborhood committee was added. In 2007, more than 3.6 million yuan was invested in the construction of small towns.
