Xijiatao Township, belonging to Guye District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the Midwest of Guye District, adjacent to Jinghua street in the East, dazhuangtuo Township in the southeast, Fangezhuang town in the south, Wali town in Kaiping District in the southwest, wangnianzhuang Township in the northwest, Zhaogezhuang street in the north and beijiadian town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 18.18 square kilometers.
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, xijiatao Township belonged to luanzhou, and it was restored to xijiatao Township in May 1984. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Xi Jia Tao was 14048. As of June 2020, xijiatao township has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in huangtuo village.

History of construction
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, xijiatao Township belonged to luanzhou.
In 1913, it was transferred to Luanxian county.
In 1946, it belonged to Luanxi county and Luanxian county respectively.
In March 1949, Luanxi county was merged into Luanxi County, belonging to six districts of Luanxi county.
In March 1952, it was assigned to the Ninth District of Tangshan city.
From May to July 1953, two townships, xijiatao and yangjiatao, were established, belonging to the ninth district.
In March 1955, the ninth district and the Tenth District merged into Wali District of Tangshan city.
In January 1956, yangjiatao township was merged; in October of the same year, Wali district was merged into the suburbs of Tangshan city.
In August 1958, it was the xijiatao management area of Wali people's commune.
In March 1960, the suburb was abolished and changed to the east mining area. The villages under the jurisdiction of yangjiatao and renjiatao were included in Linxi street people's commune, and the other five villages were included in Guye street. In June of the same year, they were merged into Guye City People's commune together with Guye street.
In May 1961, jianxijiatao people's commune was established.
In July 1965, it was assigned to the suburb of Tangshan city.
In December 1979, it returned to the east mining area.
