Tuqiang Town, belonging to Mohe city in Daxing'anling region of Heilongjiang Province, is the site of Tuqiang Forestry Bureau, a large national forest industry enterprise. In September 1970, Tuqiang forest farm was established, belonging to Amur Forestry Bureau.

In March 1977, Tuqiang forest farm of Amur Forestry Bureau was established as Tuqiang district; in May 1977, Tuqiang town was established as Tuqiang district.

In August 1981, Tuqiang district was transformed into Tuqiang Forestry Bureau. Tuqiang town belongs to Mohe County.

In November 2002, Yuying town was incorporated.
