Houtou Township
Houtou Township, subordinate to Suiling County, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Suiling county and the West Bank of Nuomin river. It faces Shangji town across Nuomin River in the East, Sanjing township of Beilin District in the south, Hainan town of hailun city in the West and Lishan Township in the North, with an administrative area of 102.31 square kilometers.

History of construction
In 1946, Houtou belonged to the Second District of Suiling county.
In 1956, Houtou set up Fangshen and Houtou two townships.
In September 1957, Fangshen township was merged into Houtou township.

In 1961, Houtou commune was established.
In April 1984, Houtou commune was transformed into Houtou township.
