Hujia Township
Hujia Township, belonging to Jiayin County, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, is located 126 kilometers northwest of Jiayin County, bordering Xiangyang Township in the East, Wuyiling Forestry Bureau in the south, Gegong River in the west, Xunke County in Heihe City, and Wuyun town and Changsheng Township in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 522.3 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 2672 (2018).
Hujia township was originally named Fumin Village. In April 1970, Shanghai educated youths and farmers from Wuyun town entered and founded collective owned farms, hence the name. Shanghai is abbreviated as Shanghai, and Jia is abbreviated as Jiayin County, so it is called Hujia farm. In 1975, it was changed into Hujia commune. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. As of October 2019, Hujia township has jurisdiction over Fumin Village, Liming Village, Qingsong village, Fuyang village, Long'an village, Xin'an village, Chenguang village and Fuqing village. The township government is located in Fumin Village.

In 1943, the Fumin and Long'an development groups were established in Fumin Dagang by forced immigrants from Ning'an and Muling counties.
In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it originally belonged to Wuyun County, and then it was assigned to Wuyun District of Xunke county.
In 1958, for the Fumin production team, belongs to the Wuyun commune.
In 1966, it was transferred to Jiayin county.
In 1970, Hujia farm was built in Fumin Village.
In 1975, it was changed into Hujia commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

Name and origin
Hujia Township, formerly known as Fumin Village, was named after the collective owned farm established in April 1970 by Shanghai's cadres, educated youth and farmers in Wuyun town. Shanghai is short for Shanghai and Jiayin county is short for Jiayin County, so it is called Hujia farm.
