Wulaga town
Wulaga Town, belonging to Jiayin County, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Jiayin County, bordering Baoxing Township in the East, Hongguang Township in the northeast, Hegang City and Luobei County across Jiayin River in the south. In the west, it is connected with Qingshan Township and Xinqing District of Yichun city. The total area of the jurisdiction is 984.29 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 3044 (2018).
"Wulaga" is the Oroqen language, and its Chinese translation is "river on high mountain". Wulaga River traverses the territory, and the town is named after the river. In the Qing Dynasty, wulaga town was originally a hunting ground for the Oroqen people. In 1984, it was changed to wulaga town. As of October 2019, wulaga town has jurisdiction over Tuanjie community, Jinxing community, Shengli Village (Olunchun Ethnic Village), Jinfeng Village, Jinshui village and Lizhi village, and four administrative villages. The town government is stationed in Tuanjiegou.

Historical evolution
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the vice capital of Heilongjiang Province, and later to Xingdong road. It was originally a hunting ground for the Oroqen people.
In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), Wulaga gold mine branch of northeast nonferrous metals Administration Bureau was established, which worked together with Jiayin County People's government and was located in Wulaga (Beigou) town.
In 1948, the government and Wulaga gold mine branch were set up separately.
In 1951, wulaga district was established.
