Zhao Tongxiang
Zhaotong Township, belonging to Yuanshi County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Yuanshi County, bordering Nanyin town in the East, Huaiyang town in the southeast, Suyang town in the south, BeiChu town in the west, Yincun town and Macun town in the north, with an administrative area of 38.2 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Zhaotong Township belonged to the science society; in 1984, it was changed to Zhaotong township; in 1996, Maoyi township was incorporated into Huaiyang Town, and laixiang, Fangzhong and wangquankou villages were assigned to Huaiyang town. By the end of 2018, Zhao had 29497 registered residence. As of June 2020, Zhaotong township has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Maoyi village.
In 2011, Zhao Tongxiang's total financial revenue was 5.09 million yuan, an increase of 15% over the previous year. Among them, the national tax revenue was 1.7 million yuan, an increase of 21% over the previous year, and the local tax revenue was 3.39 million yuan. The investment in fixed assets of the township reached 240 million yuan, and the per capita fiscal revenue increased by 5% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 27 industrial enterprises in Zhaotong Township, including one above scale and 27 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, Zhao's hometown belonged to science society.
During the period of the Republic of China, it was a district of Yuanshi County.
In 1937, it belonged to the eastern district.
In 1945, it belonged to five districts and was stationed in Zhaotong.
In 1953, belonging to a district, Zhao Tongxiang was set up.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Mochi Township and Wangcun village in Longzheng Township were merged into Zhaotong township.
In 1958, the two counties of Yuanshi and Gaoyi were merged into Gaoyuan County, belonging to Gaoyuan County; in December of the same year, Zanhuang county was merged into Gaoyuan county and renamed Yuanshi County, belonging to Chengguan commune of Yuanshi County,
In 1962, Yuanshi County, Gaoyi County and Zanhuang county were divided into Yuanshi County and Zhaotong commune was established in the same year.
In 1984, it was changed to Zhao Tongxiang.
In 1996, Maoyi township was merged into Huaiyang Town, and laixiang, Fangzhong and wangquankou villages were assigned to Huaiyang town.

As of June 2020, Zhaotong township has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages: Zhaotong village, Maoyi village, Chi Village, Mochi village, underground village, beibailou village, Longzheng village, Fangli village, gaojiazhuang village, xiyuke village, dongyuke village, Xiawang village and yelutou village. The Township People's government is stationed in Maoyi village.
