Hongwei farm
Hongwei farm is a large state farm of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation, with a total control area of 630 square kilometers and a cultivated land of 305000 mu. The farm is located in the northwest of Raohe County, at the junction of Fujin and Tongjiang. In 1969, the fourth division of Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps entered Raohe county to open up wasteland and build a farm. In 1976, the production and Construction Corps was abolished and changed into Hongwei farm, which was subordinate to Jiansanjiang farm Administration Bureau. Hongwei farm is located in the northeast of Sanjiang Plain, with low-lying marshes in the South and North, flat in the middle and fertile soil. There are scattered woodland, abundant water and grass, many wild animals and plants, and rare birds such as Red Crowned Crane and swan. The farm is dominated by agriculture, diversified operation, farm run industry has agricultural machinery repair, grain and oil processing, feed processing plants.
Natural resources
Hongwei farm is located at the north foot of Wanda mountain and the Bank of Naoli River in the northeast of Sanjiang Plain. The terrain is flat. The farm has 480000 mu of paddy field, which is a standard rice production demonstration farm of the Ministry of agriculture. In order to improve the ability of farmers to apply agricultural technology, the farm focused on the "three modernizations and one management" technology of rice, and comprehensively improved the rice production standards. Cui Wenchen, a rice farmer in the first management area, planted 150 mu of rice, all of which were supplied by the farm with Kongyu 131 varieties and fertilizer. According to the management measures stipulated by the farm, the yield per mu reached 996.9 kg, which was the highest record of rice in cold regions in China. The total control area is 630 square kilometers, with 305 thousand mu of cultivated land, including 95 thousand mu of dry land, 210 thousand mu of paddy field, 108 thousand mu of forest land, 22 thousand mu of water area and 173 thousand mu of wasteland. The forest is dense and the grassland is rich. The mountain is rich in resources, with more than 30 kinds of medicinal materials, such as Paeonia lactiflora, clematis, fennel, etc.; edible fungi, such as Auricularia auricula, mushrooms, Hericium erinaceus, etc.; wild vegetables, such as daylily, fern, etc. The farm has 21 production companies, 24 directly affiliated units and 5 resident units. At the end of 1997, the total population was 11317, of which the Han population accounted for 91%, and the rest were Mongolian, Korean, Manchu, Hui, Miao and other ethnic minorities.
Economic and social development
The farm implements the management system of "two self-care" and "four household" to lay a solid foundation for grain production and bumper harvest. It implements the high-yield cultivation mode of "four five eleven" and relies on science and technology to increase production and efficiency, so as to improve agricultural productivity. Hongwei farm
The site is located in the southeast of Ding'an County. It is adjacent to Qionghai City in the East, DAHAO village committee of Longmen town in the west, Ding'an agricultural technology school in the South (the former May 7th cadre school in the county), and liantanghu village of Longmen town in the north. The site is 43 km away from Dingcheng town. The farm is located in a low hilly area with flat terrain, fertile land and convenient transportation. Hongwei farm was founded in 1943 by four overseas Chinese families and local farmers. Before liberation, it was a private joint-stock operation, known as Guanghe farm. After liberation, Guanghe farm was directly managed by the people's government and changed into a reform through labor farm in Ding'an County, mainly planting rubber. In 1958, the county government merged the reform through labor farm, ten thousand pig farm and bamboo farm in Ding'an County and renamed them Xinjin farm. In 1963, Xinjin farm and shuichu farm were merged and renamed Xiatang farm in Ding'an County. From 1965 to December 1970, it merged with labor University of Ding'an County (from 1968 to 1970, labor University changed its name to May 7th cadre school). In January 1971, the May 7th cadre school was separated and the farm was renamed Hongwei farm. When the farm was built in 1943, it only planted some economic crops such as betel nut and pepper. A small amount of rubber was planted in 1952, and a large amount of rubber was planted in 1972. In 1996, the rubber planting area reached 1709 mu, pepper 180 mu, betel nut 30 mu, duckweed 200 mu, economic forest 700 mu, and other crops 400 mu. while invigorating the collective economy, the farm encourages the workers to develop the individual economy. In 1996, individual farmers planted 200 mu of economic crops such as pepper and betel nut, 45 mu of fish and 45 mu of rice.
