Gounan Street

Gounan street is located in Xingshan District, Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province. Xingshan, formerly known as "Bijia", is named after the nearby "Bijia mountain". In 1918, Xinghua Coal mining company started mining and began to call it Xinghua mine, or "Xingshan" for short. Toudaogouzi and Nanbei gongpengzi are the earliest residential areas under the jurisdiction of Tangyuan county.

In January 1927, the railway from Kuangshan to Lianjiangkou was completed and opened to traffic. With the development of coal mines, the population gathered, merchants gradually flourished, and gradually formed a market town. After the fall of Northeast China, it was under the jurisdiction of Kuangpao in the early days. In 1938, it was changed to lixingshan street, and in June 1939, it was put under the jurisdiction of Heli county. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, Xingshan district was set up in 1946 under the jurisdiction of Xingshan city. Xingshan district was abolished in 1948. In November 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Hegang City. Xingshan sub district office was established in 1954 and renamed Xingshan Economic Zone in November 1958. On December 10, 1960, with the approval of the provincial people's Committee, Xingshan district was officially established. On August 31, 1966, approved by the people's Committee of Hegang City, it was renamed Hongwei District. On April 24, 1980, with the approval of the provincial people's government, the name of Xingshan district was restored.
