Shuangyang Town, belonging to Yi'an County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Yi'an county. It is adjacent to Changchun Town, Changrong Township, shuiqin Township and Fuqiang town of Baiquan County in the East, Furao Township across the river in the south, Yilong town in the West and Jiefang Township in the North. Historical evolution

In the late Qing Dynasty, Shuangyang Town was under the jurisdiction of Baiquan County.

In the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915), the jieji, named "huyaofan jieji", was established under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Baiquan County. In October 1923, it was under the jurisdiction of Yi'an Administrative Bureau, which was subordinate to the second district. After the fall of Northeast China, Shuangyang village was established in June 1938. In 1945, after the victory of the "93" Anti Japanese War, it was subordinate to Shuangyang District.

In the early 1950s, Shuangyang Town was set up under the ninth district.

In August 1956, the division was adjusted to Shuangyang township.

In September 1958, it was renamed Shuangyang people's commune.
