Permanent town
Yongyong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changling County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Changling County, 60 kilometers away from Changling County and 60 kilometers away from the provincial capital Changchun City; it borders Nongan County in the East, Gongzhuling City in the south, sanxianbao Township in the West and Taipingshan town in the north. The total administrative area is 119.57 square kilometers.
In 1938, liyaopu village was established; in 1994, Yongjiu township was changed into Yongjiu town. By the end of 2018, the permanent town had 16462 registered residence population. As of June 2020, the permanent town has nine administrative villages.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Yongjiu town was 340 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 8400 yuan. The total industrial output value is 20 million yuan. History of construction
In 1938, Li Yaopu village was established. In 1941, it was transferred to Changchun county. In 1948, it belonged to the Sixth District of Changling County.
In 1950, it belonged to the third district.
In 1956, two townships, Yongyong and liuhaoquanzi, were established.
In February 1958, the two townships were merged into a permanent township; in September, they were merged into Hongxing (later renamed Taipingshan) commune.
In 1961, a permanent commune was established.
In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 1994, the township was transformed into a town.
