Pingfeng Township
Pingfeng Township, belonging to the former Guoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County of Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of the former Guoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, 29 kilometers away from the people's Government of the former Guoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County; it intersects Ningjiang district across the Songhua River in the East, maoduzhan town of Ningjiang district in the south, Changshan town in the West and Zhaoyuan County of Heilongjiang Province across the Nenjiang River in the north. The total administrative area is 202.43 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, some of them belonged to dashijiatun and the rest to a prairie. In 1983, Pingfeng commune was changed into Pingfeng township. By the end of 2018, Ping Feng Township had 28869 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Pingfeng rural area has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages.

History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty, some of them belonged to dashijiatun and the rest to a prairie.
During the period of the Republic of China, Han immigrants came from Guannei to reclaim wasteland, and gradually formed settlements, which belonged to Tahu nutuk (District) of Guoerluosi Front Banner; in the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), it belonged to the third nutuk; in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to kulinutuk; in the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945), it belonged to Xinmiao district; in the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to Pingfeng district.
In 1956, it was divided into three townships: Tianjia, dagangzi and yamutou.
In April 1958, the three townships were merged into Pingfeng township; in October, the township was transformed into a commune.
In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.

By the end of 2011, Pingfeng Township had 14 villagers' committees including Pingfeng, Taipingshan, dagangzi, Songjiang, guojiawobao, zhujiawobao, langjiawobao, Xinfu, Changjiang, heigangzi, Nenjiang, Fengyuan, kongjiaweizi and bajiahu, and 85 villagers' groups.
As of June 2020, Pingfeng rural area has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages. The Township People's government is located in tianjiatun, Pingfeng village.

In 1946, Qian Guoping and Gao Xifeng killed bandits in tianjiawopu village. In memory of the two martyrs, they named Pingfeng township.
