It is the residence of Dongchang District Government with a total area of 5.1 square kilometers.

In 1877, the place was called "toudaojiang"; in October 1964, Xinzhan street was set up by Jiangdong commune. In 2011, the total population of Xinzhan street was 37041. History of construction

In 1877, it was called toudaojiang.

In May 1947, the people's Government of Jiangdong District was established.

In 1958, Jiangdong, laozhan and Erdaojiang were merged into iron and steel commune.
