Xiguan Town, belonging to Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Gaocheng District, bordering Wuji County in the East, Nanmeng town in the south, Zengcun town in the west, and Xinle City across Mudaogou in the north, covering an area of 49.82 square kilometers.
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to zhendingwei; in December 1998, Xiguan township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xiguan town was 47487. As of June 2020, Xiguan town has 14 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xiguan town was 18.57 million yuan, an increase of 11% over the previous year. History of construction
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to zhendingwei.
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Zeng Village Camp.
During the period of the Republic of China, there were five districts in Gaocheng county.
In April 1938, it belonged to the eight districts of the Anti Japanese democratic government of Gaocheng county.
In November 1947, after the restoration of the original system, Gaocheng belonged to eight or twelve districts.
After October 1949, it belonged to nine or six districts.
In July 1953, Xiguan township was established.
In August 1958, the Red Star commune was established; in November of the same year, it was changed to Zengcun commune.
