Yidan Town, belonging to Yitong Manchu Autonomous County, Siping City, Jilin Province, is located in the east of Yitong Manchu Autonomous County, bordering Yitong town in the East and south, Erdao town in the southwest, Shuangyang District of Changchun City in the west, Xinxing Township in the north and Leshan town in the northeast. The area is 150.67 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in Edan town was 24547.

In 1947, it belonged to the Second District of Yitong county. In 1958, Yidan commune was established. In 1985, the commune was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Yidan town has one community and 12 administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises in Yidan town and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
