Nanjing Street, belonging to Chuanying District of Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the east of Chuanying District, bordering Wenmiao street of Changyi District in the East, Jiangcheng square in the south, Xiangyang Street in the West and Zhanqian street of Changyi District in the north, with an area of 0.96 square kilometers.
In 1908, Nanjing Street belonged to the third police district; in November 1980, it was changed from Nanjing Street Revolutionary Committee to Nanjing street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Nanjing street was 33783. As of June 2020, Nanjing Street has four communities under its jurisdiction, and its sub district office is located at No. 3, Beining East Hutong.
At the end of 2011, Nanjing Street had 712 commercial outlets with 121 employees, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods was 5 million yuan.
History of construction
Qing Guangxu 34 years (1908), is the third police district.
In 1929, it was the third district of Jilin City. In 1936, it belonged to Chaoyang District Office. In August 1938, Chaoyang and Yangming were set up. In August 1941, the town was changed into a district. In 1946, Chaoyang and Donglai were set up as joint guarantors, belonging to Chaoyang District Office. In 1948, Chaoyang and Donglai were set up, belonging to Chaoyang District. In August of the same year, the government of Chaoyang and Donglai was changed. In August 1949, the street government was abolished and it belonged to Nanma Road police station.
In November 1950, Nanma Road and Chaoyang 2nd Street office were set up, which were divided into the third district (Tongtian District).
In January 1954, it was changed to Nanma Road and Chaoyang Street, and was assigned to Changyi district.
In December 1958, it was changed to Nanma Road and Chaoyang 2 management area, belonging to Changyi commune.
In August 1960, the two administrative areas were merged into Nanma Road branch.
In March 1962, Nanma Road branch was changed into Nanjing Road street.
In August 1965, Nanjing Road street was changed into Nanjing street.
In September 1968, Nanjing street was transformed into Nanjing Street Revolutionary Committee.
In November 1980, Nanjing Street Revolutionary Committee changed Nanjing street.
In 1992, it was assigned to the ship camp.
