Wanjinta Township, belonging to Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Nong'an county. It faces Tiantai town of Dehui city across Yitong River in the East, borders Nong'an town in the south, Gaojiadian town in the West and Xinnong Township in the north. It is 26 kilometers away from Nong'an County, with a total area of 164 square meters.
In 1889, nonger commune was set up in wanjinta township; in 1983, it was changed from wanjinta commune to wanjinta township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the village was 36869. As of June 2020, wanjinta township has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in wanjinta village.
In 2018, wanjinta Township had 4 industrial enterprises and 19 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1889, the nonger society was established. In 1910, it was renamed four districts.
In 1926, it was renamed new three districts. In 1926, wanjinta town was established. During the period of northeast occupied by Japanese, wanjinta village was changed.
In 1949, wanjinta village was transformed into wanjinta district.
In 1952, wanjinta district was renamed 11th district.
In 1956, the eleven counties were divided into two townships: Kaoshan and Gaojiadian.
In 1967, the two townships of Kaoshan and Gaojiadian were merged into wanjinta district.
In 1958, wanjinta district was transformed into wanjinta commune.
In 1983, wanjinta commune was changed into wanjinta township.
