It is adjacent to Gaojialing Manchu town of Xingcheng city across Liugu River in the East, xipingpo Manchu Township in the south, Gejia Manchu Township in the West and Bajiazi town of Jianchang County in the northwest, with an administrative area of 157.87 square kilometers.

In 1931, it was Kuanbang village, belonging to Suizhong County; in 2002, Kuanbang Manchu town was renamed Kuanbang town. History and culture

During the reign of emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1661), the place was a deserted meadow, close to shanbang in the west, with a broad and flat terrain in the middle, so it was named kuanbangdianzi. In the 25th year of Kangxi reign (1686) of the Qing Dynasty, a gate was set up here for the second development of wicker border, which was called Kuanbang border gate.
