YangShuling Township
Yang Shu Ling Township, a county in Chaoyang City, Liaoning, is located in the central part of Jianping County, east of the Song Song Ling Township, south of Zhangjia yingzi Town, northwest and Jianping Town, and its area is 113.97 square kilometers. Up to 2018, the registered residence population was 9353.
Before 1969, it belonged to Jianping commune. In August 1999, it was transferred to Jianping town. In May 2002, YangShuling township was restored. In October 2003, the township was merged into five villages. As of June 2020, YangShuling countryside has jurisdiction over five administrative villages.
In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in YangShuling Township, including one above scale and eight comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Before 1969, it belonged to Jianping commune.
On April 1, 1969, YangShuling commune was founded by Jianping commune, located in qianbaodiyingzi.
In 1984, it was changed to YangShuling township.
In August 1999, it was transferred to Jianping town.
In December 2000, Yang Shuling office was set up.
In May 2002, YangShuling township was restored.
In October 2003, the township was merged into five villages.

YangShuling township is located in the middle of Jianping County, adjacent to qingsongling Township in the East, zhangjiayingzi town in the South and Jianping town in the northwest, with an area of 113.97 square kilometers.
topographic features
The topography of YangShuling township is mainly low mountains and hills. There are three main peaks, Lama mountain in the southwest of taobuheluo village, with an altitude of 845.9 meters; ZHUANSHANZI mountain in the east of dejiwusu village, with an altitude of 808 meters; shitoushan mountain in the east of YangShuling village, with an altitude of 851 meters.
climate
YangShuling township has a temperate continental monsoon climate. Due to the barrier of Songling mountains in the south, it is less likely to be directly affected by the warm and humid air of the ocean, while the cold air intrusion in the northern Mongolian Plateau is frequent, forming a semi-arid, semi humid and drought prone climate. The climate features are: long winter, short autumn, four distinct seasons, rich light resources, cold winter, hot summer, large temperature difference between day and night. The annual average temperature is 6 ℃, the extreme minimum temperature is - 30 ℃, the extreme maximum temperature is 35 ℃, the annual average sunshine hours is 2700 hours, and the annual radiation is 142.9 kcal / cm2. The annual average precipitation is about 475 mm, and the precipitation is mainly concentrated in June to August, accounting for 73% of the annual precipitation. The annual average frost free period is 120 days.
hydrology
YangShuling Township belongs to Liaohe River system. Tiaohe River, a tributary of Laoha River, originates from the south end of pokeliang village in Luocun village of taobu River, runs through the central part of the township from north to south, flows through Jianping, Machang, beiershijiazi and other towns, and flows northward into Laoha river.
natural disaster
The main natural disasters in YangShuling township are drought, hail, flood, wind and frost. Drought usually occurs once every three years. From July 1971 to July 1972, there were 360 consecutive days of severe drought, and the water content of soil layer above 5cm was zero. The total area without seedlings is 50% and the area is nearly 25000 mu. Most of the crops are dead, and 73 earth wells and Sanjia reservoirs are dry. Hail mostly occurs from May to July, the earliest in April, the latest in the end of October, and the most serious damage from August to September. At 3:00 p.m. on May 20, 1990, there was a hailstorm, which was as big as ripe apricot and as small as almond. The hailstorm covered an area of 10 cm thick, with a disaster area of 24836 mu. At 16:00 p.m. on June 22 and 16:00 p.m. on August 14, the hailstorm hit three villages in the township, with a disaster area of 31000 mu. At 13:30 p.m. on June 5, 1975, there was a heavy rainstorm in the territory, which drowned 161 livestock and reduced crop production by 50%; on July 20 and 21, 1980, tornadoes hit the territory, breaking more than 6000 timber trees, more than 500 fruit trees, 5 kilometers of telephone lines and 1 kilometer of high-voltage lines, and more than 420 house tiles were removed. From April 20 to 23, 1987, there was a blizzard with a depth of 40-60 cm, resulting in the interruption of power and traffic. In September 1972, insect disasters occurred in the whole territory, among which sorghum crabs and millet burglars were the most serious. The early frost occurred on September 15, 2003, and all crops were frozen to death.

The mineral resources in YangShuling Township include iron, manganese, silica, fluorite, etc. Iron ore is mainly distributed in Wanfengshan, taobuheluo and dejiwusu villages on the west side of nuruerhu mountains, with reserves of 880000 tons and comprehensive grade of 30% ~ 40%; silica is mainly distributed in juhuashan village on the west side of nuruerhu mountains, with reserves of about 5 million tons, silicon content of 96% ~ 98% and iron content of 2%. There is a fluorite deposit in yuwanzi of juhuashan village, which has not been developed yet. There are 64703 mu of agricultural cultivated land, 8461 mu of available grassland and 80480 mu of forest land.

In the total population, there are 4988 males (51.9%) and 4627 females (48.1%). In the total population, 8490 people (88.3%) are Han nationality, 1125 people (11.7%) are Manchu, Mongolian and other minorities. In 2011, the birth rate was 7.3 ‰, the death rate was 10.1 ‰, and the natural growth rate was - 2.8 ‰.
