Changlong town
The registered residence of Changlong town is located in Jianping County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning province. It is located in the Midwest of Jianping County, East and adjacent to Quaid, South and eight farms. The west is bounded by the Lao ha River in the West and Chifeng area in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the North is adjacent to Hei Shui town. The area is 148.44 square kilometers. As of 2018, the household registration population was 15753.
In 1949, it belonged to eight families and five districts of Jianping County. In March 2000, changlongyong township was replaced by Changlong Town, and its jurisdiction remained unchanged. By the end of 2005, the original 11 administrative villages were merged into 9. As of June 2020, Changlong town has nine administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In 1949, it belonged to eight families and five districts of Jianping County.
In 1956, dapaidian and shuangshanzi townships were established in the territory, which were classified as Heishui district.
In 1958, after communization, dapaidian and shuangshanzi townships were abolished, Zhongguan and shuangshanzi 2 operation areas were established, and they were assigned to Heishui rocket commune.
In April 1969, Xiangyang commune was set up by Heishui commune.
