Luodatai town

Luodatai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Wensheng District, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Wensheng District, adjacent to Xidayao town of Dengta city in the East, Xiaotun town across the river in the south, dongjingling street in the West and zhangtaizi town of Dengta city in the north, with an administrative area of 73.66 square kilometers.

In 1651, it belonged to Liaoyang County; in 1994, Luodatai township was withdrawn to build a town; at the end of 2001, Shahu town was merged into Luodatai town; at the end of 2011, Luodatai town was classified as Wensheng district. By the end of 2018, the population of Luo Tai Tai registered residence was 27956. As of June 2020, Luodatai town has 17 administrative villages.

History of construction

In 1651, it belonged to Liaoyang County.

In June of 1664, the third year of Kangxi reign of Qing Dynasty, Liaoyang County was upgraded to a prefecture, belonging to Liaoyang Prefecture.

In 1914, Liaoyang County was transformed into a second district.

In October 1948, it belonged to Liaoyang City.

In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County.

In 1975, it belongs to lighthouse district.

In 1980, it belonged to Dengta county.

In 1988, three villages of Zhangshu Township, two villages of Shahu Township and six villages of zhangtaizi town were merged into Luodatai township.
