Nuerhe street, belonging to Taihe District, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Jinzhou City, bordering Xinmin Street in the East, qiaoniao Township in the south, Jinxing Town, Nanpiao District, Huludao City in the West and Banshigou Township, Linghai city in the north, with a total area of 65.33 square kilometers.

In 1945, it belonged to wanghutai village and nuerhe village in Jin county; in 1983, it was changed to nuerhe Township, belonging to Taihe District. In 2013, the nuerhe township was abolished and the nuerhe street was changed. At the end of 2011, the total population of nuerhe street was 19495. As of June 2020, nuerhe street has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 16 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located in jinchangbao village.

History of construction

In 1945, it belonged to wanghutai village and nuerhe village in Jinxian county.

In the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946), it was divided into two townships, nuerhe and Xining.

In 1948, it was the Fourth District of Jin county.

In 1952, it was divided into the seventh district of Jinzhou City.

In 1955, it was changed into the daughter River District.

In 1956, Wuerhe Township, Jiangtun Township and tanghezi town were built, all of which belong to Jinzhou City.

In 1961, the Nu Erhe commune was established in the suburb of Jinzhou City.

In 1983, the village was changed to Taihe District.

In 2013, the nuerhe township was abolished and the nuerhe street was changed.

Nuerhe street is located in the west of Jinzhou City, bordering Xinmin Street in the East, qiaoniao Township in the south, Jinxing town in Nanpiao District of Huludao City in the West and Banshigou township of Linghai city in the north, with a total area of 65.33 square kilometers.

The terrain of nuerhe street belongs to mountainous area except the plain area in the south of nuerhe street. The area has undulating mountains and the terrain inclines from west to East. Tanghe, Xiaolinghe and nuerhe basins are alluvial plains.

hydrology

The main rivers in nuerhe Street are nuerhe, Xiaoling River and Tanghe River. The North Bank of the middle reaches of the nuerhe River Basin flows through the territory. Tanghe River originates at the foot of Yingzui mountain in the territory, and is named for its spring water temperature of 90 ℃ in the early years. Tanghe River runs through the west of nuerhe Township, with a total length of 4 kilometers and a width of 50 meters. It flows continuously throughout the year, but the flow is very small. Tanghe River flows into nuerhe in the south of Yaotang village.

In 1991, the crop yield was reduced by more than 40% due to severe drought.
