In the Western Han Dynasty, it belonged to Ping county and Wuci County of Xi'an; in 1926, Qianyang town was under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Anton County; in August 1984, Qianyang town was established instead of township. June 18, 1993, belonging to Donggang City. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the former town was 62379. As of June 2020, Qianyang town has one community and 14 administrative villages.

History of construction
In the Western Han Dynasty, Xi'an belonged to Ping county and Wuci county.
In the Tang Dynasty, the eastern capital of Gui'an was the protector.
In the Jin Dynasty, it was the Po Su road.

In the Ming Dynasty, it was the fort of Zhenjiang in Xuancheng.
In 1621, it was under the influence of the later Jin Dynasty. In 1772, Qianyang town was under the jurisdiction of xiuyanting.
In 1876, Qianyang was under the jurisdiction of Anton County, under the Fenghuang Zhili Hall of Fengtian Prefecture.

In 1909, Dongbian road was renamed Xingfeng Road, and Qianyang was under the jurisdiction of Anton county.
