Niumaowu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County, connecting Taipingshao town in the East, dachuantou town in the south, bahechuan town in the West and Huanren Manchu Autonomous County in Benxi City in the north, with an administrative area of 300.7 square kilometers.
In 1945, niumaowu district was established; in 1995, it was called niumaowu town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of cattle town was 15349. As of June 2020, niumaowu town has seven administrative villages.

History of construction
In 1945, niumaowu district was established.
In 1950, it was renamed District 13.
In 1951, it was renamed the Tenth District.
