Tang Guantun town

Tangguantun town is a big town in the southwest of Tianjin, 40 kilometers away from the urban area, 50 kilometers away from Tianjin airport, 70 kilometers away from Tanggu port, covering an area of 113 square kilometers. Tang Guantun town is a famous town of history, culture and commerce. The town has 90000 mu of arable land and 45067 permanent residents (in 2017). Jinghai District governs towns. It is located in the south of the area. It is adjacent to caigongzhuang town in the East, Liuhe Town in Qingxian County of Hebei Province in the west, Machang town and chenquetun town in Qingxian County in the south, xizhaizhuang town and chenguantun town in the north. It covers an area of 113.1 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 45067 (in 2017). It has jurisdiction over one community and 43 administrative villages. The town government is located in dazhangtun village, 26 kilometers north of the county.

The town got its name from its former residence in Tang Guantun. During the Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, Tang Shiyi led immigrants here to cultivate official land, which was initially called Tang Shiyi Tun, later referred to as Tang Guantun. Tang Guantun Dilian was set up in the Qing Dynasty, belonging to the South Road of Jinghai County. In 1923, Tang Guantun town was established, belonging to the third district of Jinghai County. In 1947, Tang Guantun city was established, belonging to Jinghai County. In December 1949, Tang Guantun district was established. In August 1950, it was changed into six districts and was stationed in tangguantun. In August 1957, Tang Guantun township was established, and GANGLONG commune was established in August 1958. In May 1961, it belonged to Tang Guantun, dazhangtun and dahaozhuang communes. In March 1965, Tang Guantun commune was changed into Tang Guantun town. In 1983, dazhangtun commune and dahaozhuang commune were changed into dazhangtun Township and dahaozhuang township. In August 2001, dazhangtun Township and dahaozhuang Township were abolished and merged into tangguantun Town, where the town government was stationed.

In 1996, tangguantun Town, with an area of 8.7 square kilometers and a population of 11000, governed four administrative villages, namely, 1st Street, 2nd Street, 3rd Street and 4th Street; dazhangtun Township, with an area of 36.1 square kilometers and a population of 16000, governed dazhangtun, changzhangtun, zhiguantun, zhaoguantun, jinguantun, wangqianhu, wangshanzheng, liangguantun, qianxiaotun, houxiaotun, chengzhuangzi, quzhuangzi, shangzhuangzi, Maji and linzhuangzi There are 23 administrative villages, namely, shaoyaopen, guozhuangzi, da18hu, xiao18hu, zhengzhuangzi, yingguantun, xuezhuangzi, cibazhuang, yazhuangzi, donggoule, xigoule, xiaohaozhuang, dahaozhuang, and sun There are 16 administrative villages in bakou, xiazhuangzi and satisfactory village.
