Putun Street
Putun street, belonging to Wanghua District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Wanghua District. It faces Fumin Street in Xinfu District across Guchengzi River in the East, Yanwu street in the south, Guangming Street in the west, Xinmin Street in the northwest and Gebu street in Shuncheng District in the north. Its total area is 4.6 square kilometers. At the end of 2011, the total population of putun sub district was 41078.
In February 1935, the Japanese puppet government implemented the new village system, and set up the main village Wanghua Village (nominal name) including xiaoputun village. In November 1945, the Wanghua (Democratic) district government was established and the administrative organ of the district office was set up. In November 1948, the Fushun Municipal Government re established its municipal district, and Wanghua District was one of them. In May 1966, putun commune was renamed Red Star commune. In October 1978, the Revolutionary Committee of urban commune changed the original name of the street back to its original name, and the Red Star commune was changed to putun street. As of June 2020, putun street has jurisdiction over 10 communities, and its sub district office is located at No. 4, Haicheng 2nd Road, GAIPING community.
In 2011, there was one industrial enterprise above Designated Size in putun street with 75 employees, realizing an industrial added value of 8.51 million yuan. There are 463 commercial outlets and 5556 employees. The total sales of social commodities reached 41 million yuan, an increase of 18.2% over the previous year.
