Ganwang town
Ganwang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Haicheng City, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Haicheng City. It is adjacent to Maoqi town in the East, Guantun town of Dashiqiao City in Yingkou City in the south, Huzhuang town of Dashiqiao City in the southeast, Qikou town of Dashiqiao City in the west, Xiliu town in the northeast and Zhongzhen town in the north, with an administrative area of 93.18 square kilometers.
In 1911, it was Haicheng County in Fengtian province, and the district office was set up in Ganwang village. In June 1984, Ganwang township was removed from township to town, and its villages and groups remained unchanged. By the end of 2018, 41668 people felt Wang Zhen had registered residence. As of June 2020, Ganwang town has 18 administrative villages.

History of construction
Qing Xuantong three years (1911), for Fengtian province Haicheng County, the district office is located in Ganwang village.
In 1931, after the September 18th Incident, the Japanese invaders occupied the three eastern provinces and established the puppet Manchukuo. Ganwang village was still the old system.
In 1934, Ganwang village office was established.
