Xinnong Town, subordinate to Xinmin City, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Xinmin City, connecting Gongzhutun town in the East, daliutun town in the south, Zhangwu County of Fuxin City in the West and Faku County in the north, with an administrative area of 106.5 square kilometers.
In October 1958, the new rural commune was established; in April 1984, the new rural township was changed. In 2017, the new rural township was built from township to town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in new rural villages was 13659. As of June 2020, the new rural town has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in the new rural area.
