In July 1956, mashanjia street was established, belonging to Huanggu District.
In November 1958, Ma Sanjia commune was established in Ma Sanjia street.
In March 1964, it was classified as flood area.

In March 1985, Ma San's hometown was changed into a town.
In January 2007, Masanjia town was transformed into Masanjia street.
