Zhangzigou Township

Zhangzigou Township, belonging to Linxia County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Linxia County, adjacent to Hanji town in the southeast, Hongtai in the northeast, manisigou Township in the southwest and Yingtan Township in the north. The area is 23.82 square kilometers. In 2018, 9598 people registered residence.

In December 1955, Hanji district was abolished. In September 1958, Hanji commune was established. In May 1961, it was divided into small communes and changed into zhangzigou commune. At the end of 1961, the organizational system of Linxia county was restored, and zhangzigou commune belonged to Linxia county. In 1966, zhangzigou commune was abolished and merged into Hanji commune. In June 1980, the system of Linxia county was restored. In October 2019, zhangzigou governs seven administrative villages.
