Magang street, belonging to Shenbei New District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Shenbei New District, bordering Wangbin street in the East and North, Huishan street and Qingquan street in the South and West, with a total area of 65 square kilometers.
In October 1959, Magang commune was set up; in December 2010, Magang township was removed from the township to set up streets. At the end of 2011, Magang street had a total population of 10100. As of June 2020, Magang street has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located in Magang village.

History of construction
In October 1959, Magang commune was established.
In December 1984, Magang commune was transformed into Magang township.
At the end of 2002, six villages in Wangbin Township, including zengzigou, zhangzigou, Heilinzi, Hexin, Fangshengou and shanchengzi, were assigned to Magang township.
At the end of 2007, zhangzigou village, zengzigou village, Heilinzi village, Hexin village, shanchengzi village, Fangshengou village and qiujiagou village in Magang Township were included in Wangbin street.
In December 2010, Magang Township set up streets.
In December 2019, Qingquan Street will be abolished and its four administrative villages, houyaobao, yongtun, Wan Road and Yilu, will be included in Magang street.
