East durky town
Dongduerji Town, belonging to Tuquan County, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the east of the central part of Tuquan County, adjacent to Jiulong Township in the East, Shuiquan town in the south, Liuhu town in the west, Yong'an town in the north and Meiyao Township in Taonan City, Jilin Province. The area of East duer town area is 333.62 square kilometers, and by the end of 2018, the registered residence population was 23741.
In 1958, durji commune was established; in 1980, it was changed to durji Management Committee; in 1983, it was changed to East durji township; in 1985, it was changed to East durji town. As of June 2020, the town has one neighborhood committee and 20 village committees.
In 2017, there were 19 enterprises and 118 employees in the town; in 2018, there were 60 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in the town.

Dongduerji town is located in a shallow hilly area with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast. Daheishan, the highest point in the town, is located in the northwest of the town with an altitude of 488 meters, and the lowest point is 102 meters above sea level.

Dongduerji town belongs to temperate continental monsoon climate, which is characterized by obvious monsoon, strong dry wind in spring, rapid temperature rise, strong solar radiation and abundant sunshine; warm summer, hot rain in the same season, concentrated precipitation and more effective precipitation; cool and short autumn; cold and long winter. There are two main rivers in dongduerji Town, Jiaoliu River and Halaqin river. The largest river is Jiaoliu river. From Guangming Village to Mingxing village, it flows through six villages, namely Hongguang, Heping, Baoan, Baoan, Duerji and Wusi in jingnei, with a flow length of 35 km.
