Arele Township
Arele Township, belonging to Shache County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Shache County, on the West Bank of Yeerqiang River. It is connected with Yeerqiang River in the East, qiarbage Township in the south, Shache County in the West and Misha town in the north, with a total area of 73.83 square kilometers.
In 1950, the area around Arele Township became Arele district; in 1984, it was changed from Arele commune to Arele township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the province was 21019. In 2019, 15 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Arele Township, and the people's government will be stationed in qiatuke village. In 2018, there were 17 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Arele township.
On May 26, 2020, Arele township was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.
