Tarim Township
Tarim Township, belonging to Yuli County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Yuli County. It is connected with aksufu Township in the East, Ruoqiang County in the south, gulebage Township in the west, Tuanjie town and peacock farm in the north. It is 5km away from Yuli County, with a total area of 22300 square kilometers.
In 1952, Tarim township was under the jurisdiction of the second, third and second districts of the satellite; in May 1984, Tarim commune was changed into Tarim township.
