Qiarbage Township
Qiarbage Township, belonging to Korla City, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Korla City. It is connected with Tuanjie street in the East, Tianshan Street across Kongque River in the south, Shanghu Township and Langan Township in the west, and Tianshan Street in the north. It is 8 kilometers away from Korla municipal government, with a total area of 13.06 square kilometers.
In 1948, qiarbage township was subordinate to the third township of Korla County; in 1984, qiarbage commune was changed into qiarbage township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the village was 19133. In 2019, qarbag governs five communities and seven administrative villages.
The agriculture of qiarbage township is mainly to plant vegetables, and the animal husbandry is mainly to raise cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry. In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in qiarbage township.
History of construction
In 1948, qiarbage township was under the jurisdiction of the third township of Korla county and the Fourth District Office.
In August 1950, the Baojia system was abolished and the people's political power was established.
In November 1955, kaladun and aiszenghati Township were integrated into one, named qiarbage township.
In March 1958, three high-level agricultural societies, Shanghu Township, kuerchu Township and Bostan street, were united to form Tianshan commune, which was later renamed qiarbage commune.
In 1963, qiarbage commune divided Shanghu, kurchu and Bostan.
In 1979, qiarbage commune was transferred to Korla City.
In 1984, qiarbage commune was transformed into qiarbage township.
